Detailed Itinerary:

Breakfast is at the hotel, drive to Wat Phnom, namesake of the capital Phnom Penh, the famous Central Market and the National Museum as a Museum of Fine Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art, especially sculpture. Lunch is at the hotel. Then visit the infamous Tuol Sleng museum. In 1975, the Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot's security forces and used as a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21) become. It soon became apparent as the largest such centre of detention and torture in the country. More than 17,000 people were being housed in the S-21 to later in the extermination camps in Choeung Ek brought. Prisoners died during the torture and were buried in mass graves in the prison floor. The museum displays include room after room photos of these men, women and children. On the walls from floor to ceiling are virtually represented all the people who were later killed. Then visit the Russian market (Psah Tuol Thom Pong), in a lively outdoor market where you will find antiquities, silver and gold jewellery, gems, silk, cameras, stone and wood carvings, and find T-shirts, CDs and other souvenirs .Finally enjoy a one-hour community tour on the Mekong at sunset. Visit the Roluos group, the Monuments of Roluos, the capital of Indravarman the I. (ruled 877-889), are among the earliest large, permanent built temples of the Khmer and mark the beginning of classical Khmer art. Preah Ko erected by the king Indravarman the I in the late 9th Century and consecrated in 880 his ancestors. Bakong the largest and most interesting temple of Roluos Group, with his active Buddhist monastery in the north of the eastern entrance. Lolei built on a small island in the middle of a large water reservoir (now rice fields) by the Yasovarman I, the founder of the first city at Angkor. Lunch is at the hotel. In the afternoon then continue the tour with other temples. Affter breakfast at the hotel, drive to the remote Beng Mealea temple through the typical Khmer countryside (60 km from Siem Reap). Explore this long-abandoned temple in the 11th Century, surrounded by the jungle. Packed lunches will be provided for this day. In the afternoon, visit Banteay Srei temple (10.-century), regarded as the crown jewel of classical Khmer art. Continue to visit Banteay Samre, one of the most complete facilities in Angkor, above all, because of the restoration by the method of "Anastylosis. Samre, the name refers to an ethnic group of mountain people; the region at the base of Phnom Kulen inhabited and is probably associated with the Khmer. None Inscriptions have been found for this temple, but the style of most of the architecture corresponds to the classical art of the middle period, as well as in Angkor Wat. Enjoy sunrise at Srah Srang. Return to hotel for breakfast, visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, which is located 10 km south of Siem Reap. Take a boat ride in a traditional boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia and one of the largest in Asia. Lunch is at the hotel. In the afternoon continue visit to the Temple of Preah Khan. Built by King Jayavarman VII, Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of countless corridors and rooms. However, the temples of Preah Khan, Ta Prohm, are unlike in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts and to improve the situation and maintained. Built next to Neak Pean, a fountain in the middle of a swimming pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan Mountain Lake), and conclude we visit Ta Som, built in the third quarter of the 12th Century.
